Services that meet the cultural needs of Indigenous children, youth and their families are important for their health and wellbeing. You can find information about community programmes, services and outreach here.

  • Anishnabeg Outreach offers information on employment, training and education, youth programs and resources, culturally based workshops and special events.
  • Home and Community Care Support Services Waterloo Wellington provides information on community services that include housing, employment, training and community outreach.
  • Southwest Ontario Aboriginal Health Access Centre (SOAHAC) provides a wide range of wellness services to First Nations, Inuit and Métis people in Southwestern Ontario, including traditional healing, mental health and addictions services, and clinical services. Clinical services include primary health care, diabetes education, nutrition, Aboriginal Midwifery, and more.
