Full day kindergarten
The Ministry of Education offers the kindergarten program for all 4 and 5 year olds in Ontario. Full day kindergarten provides children with an engaging, play-based programme during the regular school day.
All of our local publicly funded school boards offer full day kindergarten. To learn more about the transition to full day kindergarten and registering your child contact your local publicly funded school board.

Transitioning to kindergarten
Transition to kindergarten is not an event but a process. This process starts from birth. Early childhood education programs that you participate in can help your child to make smooth transitions through their education journey.
